Longevity Core combines the two most-studied molecules in modern longevity research: Rapamycin and Metformin.
Rapamycin is an mTOR modulator. mTOR is your body's "build everything now" signal — great when you're 25, but it accelerates aging when constantly active in older adults. Rapamycin gently lowers it on a weekly schedule, mimicking the cellular state that promotes longevity.
Metformin regulates glucose and insulin signaling, improving metabolic flexibility. It's been studied for over 60 years with strong safety data and is now considered one of the most promising longevity interventions.
For cellular energy support, NAD+ lives in our Cellular Health category — pair Longevity Core with Cellular Oral or Cellular Injection as your physician recommends.
Week 1-2: Metformin may cause mild GI changes as your body adjusts.
Week 3-6: Cleaner energy throughout the day, less afternoon dips.
Week 8-12: Metabolic markers improve if tracked via bloodwork (fasting insulin, HbA1c, triglycerides).
Month 3-6: Cumulative work on biological age markers, body composition, cognitive sharpness.
This is a long-game protocol. Subjective changes are subtle; the work is happening at the cellular level.
Rapamycin Capsule
• Form: Oral capsule (commercial pharmaceutical)
• Route: Oral, weekly
• Strength: personalized by your physician
• Storage: Room temperature
Metformin ER
• Form: Extended-release oral tablet
• Route: Oral, daily
• Strength: personalized by your physician (titrated up gradually)
• Storage: Room temperature
Standard protocol: long-term continuous use.
Rapamycin: weekly dosing year-round, with possible 4-week breaks every 6 months (your physician decides).
Metformin: continuous daily, no cycling needed.
This is foundational longevity work — designed for sustained use over years, not short cycles. Your physician monitors response and adjusts.
Metformin (first 2-4 weeks):
• Mild GI changes (loose stools, mild stomach discomfort) — usually resolves
• Occasional metallic taste
• Rare: B12 deficiency over long term (we monitor)
Rapamycin:
• Generally well tolerated at longevity doses
• Possible mild mouth sores (uncommon)
• Slight immune modulation (your physician monitors)
• Rare: changes in lipid panel
Your doctor monitors lipid panel and other markers during the protocol.
Both forms use the same active molecules — just delivered differently.
Injections enter the bloodstream directly, so around 95% of the compound reaches your cells. Oral forms pass through the digestive system or mucous membranes, with 30-40% reaching the bloodstream. To compensate, oral protocols use higher concentrations of the active ingredient.
In practice: injections act faster (results in 2-3 weeks). Oral protocols act gentler and more gradually (results in 4-6 weeks). Neither is "better" — they're different paths to similar outcomes.
The price difference reflects what each form requires to produce. Sterile injectables need clinical-grade processes (sterility testing, cold-chain shipping). Oral forms can be produced and shipped more simply.
Do not use Longevity Core if you are:
• Pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy
• Diagnosed with an active malignancy (Rapamycin contraindication)
• Active infection or immunocompromised
• Severe kidney disease (Metformin contraindication)
• Severe liver disease
• On immunosuppressive therapy
Use with caution if you have:
• History of GI conditions (Metformin can worsen)
• Type 1 diabetes (Metformin is not for primary diabetes treatment)
• History of severe infections
Your prescribing physician reviews your full medical history before clearing you. Baseline labs recommended.
Your protocol ships from a licensed US compounding pharmacy in discreet, unmarked packaging. Most orders arrive within 5-7 business days after your doctor approves your prescription.
Oral forms ship at room temperature. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your box leaves the pharmacy.
Shipping is included in every monthly plan. We deliver to all 50 US states. International shipping is not currently available.
Stop using and contact your physician immediately if you experience:
• Severe stomach pain (possible lactic acidosis from Metformin — rare but serious)
• Signs of infection (Rapamycin slightly affects immune response)
• Severe mouth sores
• Unusual fatigue or weakness
• Any unexpected symptoms that concern you
Longevity Core is a serious longevity intervention. Skip a week of Rapamycin if you have any active infection. Inform any other healthcare providers about your protocol — especially before surgery.
