Cognition Oral uses Methylene Blue — a 150-year-old molecule with newly understood effects on mitochondrial function in brain cells.
In low doses, Methylene Blue acts as an alternative electron carrier in your mitochondria. When normal energy production slows down — from aging, stress, or oxidative damage — Methylene Blue keeps ATP production going in brain cells specifically.
The result: clearer thinking, better focus, mental endurance through long workdays.
Week 1: Some clients notice mental clarity within the first few days. Others take 2-3 weeks.
Week 2-4: Steadier focus through workdays. Less mental fatigue in the afternoon.
Week 4-8: Compound effects on memory, mood, and cognitive endurance.
Beyond 2 months: Cumulative cognitive support.

Note: Methylene Blue at the strengths we use is well-studied for cognitive support. We never prescribe high doses — those have different effects and side effect profiles.
Continuous daily use, with periodic 1-week breaks every 3 months (your physician guides this).
Methylene Blue at low doses is generally safe long-term. Your doctor monitors any unusual effects.
Most common:
• Blue or green tint to urine (harmless, always happens with Methylene Blue)
• Mild headache (rare, usually resolves)
• Slight increase in energy/alertness
Less common:
• Mild nausea if taken on an empty stomach
• Blue tint to skin or whites of eyes (very rare at these doses)
Serious (rare but important):
• Serotonin syndrome if combined with SSRIs, SNRIs, or MAO inhibitors
• Your physician screens for this before prescribing
Methylene Blue is generally only prescribed in oral capsule form for longevity and cognitive use. Higher doses can be administered IV in clinical settings, but those have different indications and are not part of routine longevity protocols. For cognitive support, oral capsule is the standard and most-studied form.
For other longevity molecules in our catalog (NAD+, Sermorelin, Glutathione), injection and oral forms differ in bioavailability and price — see protocols like Cellular Injection or Cellular Oral for that comparison.
Do not use Cognition Oral if you are:
• On SSRIs, SNRIs, or MAO inhibitors (serotonin syndrome risk)
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Diagnosed with G6PD deficiency (can cause hemolysis)
• Diagnosed with severe kidney disease
• Allergic to Methylene Blue
Use with caution if you have:
• History of psychiatric conditions on medication
• History of bipolar disorder
Your physician carefully screens for medication interactions before prescribing.
Your protocol ships from a licensed US compounding pharmacy in discreet, unmarked packaging. Most orders arrive within 5-7 business days after your doctor approves your prescription.
Oral forms ship at room temperature. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your box leaves the pharmacy.
Shipping is included in every monthly plan. We deliver to all 50 US states. International shipping is not currently available.
Stop using and contact your physician immediately if you experience:
• Symptoms of serotonin syndrome (agitation, rapid heart rate, fever, sweating, confusion)
• Severe headache or vision changes
• Difficulty breathing
• Severe nausea or vomiting
• Any unexpected symptoms that concern you
The blue/green urine is normal and not a side effect to worry about. Tell other healthcare providers that you're taking Methylene Blue — especially before any procedure involving anesthesia or if any psychiatric medications are being considered.
